We all know birthdays are important to every child and that kids like to celebrate with their classmates. In stating this, please adhere to our school wellness policy that states:
Birthday celebrations will be celebrated once a month at the end of the month. If your child has a birthday at the beginning, middle or end of the month and multiple students within the classroom share the same birth month, they will celebrate on the designated date (see below) at the end of the month. Your child will be recognized in the classroom if their birthday does not fall on the birthday celebration designated day.
You are more than welcome to come and join us for this celebration and provide approved healthy treats listed that are listed on the link above. If you are unable to join us for the celebration, you can send in the designated healthy treats with your child in the morning.

Listed below are the dates we will celebrate your child's birthday on. If the date changes for any given reason, I will contact you 24-48 hours prior through email/Class Dojo.
- At least 50% of the celebration time must include a physical activity such as additional recess or creative playtime.
- Any food provided, whether by staff, parents, or an outside organization, must meet the Englewood Schools Nutrition Parameters for meals or for foods sold individually.
- Please click on the link below for food/treat ideas.
- Only water may be provided as a beverage during any classroom celebration.
